How to Monitor the Activity and Audit Log

Tracking operational changes, menu adjustments, permission updates, and staff actions.

Who can do thisRestaurant Owners and Managers.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings → Activity log

In the Owner console, go to Settings → Activity log (`/owner/logs`) or Dashboard → Settings → Activity Log.

The activity log displays a chronological audit trail of administrative events.

Settings → Activity log with counters, filters and a list of changes
Owner console → Settings → Activity log.
  2. Review recorded events

Inspect the log entries for operational actions.

Events record: Timestamp, Staff user name & email, Action taken (e.g. Menu item price changed, Item 86ed, Staff role updated, Settings modified), and Target entity details.

Settings → Activity log with counters, filters and a list of changes
Counters for the last 24 hours sit above a list of every change, with who made it and when.
  3. Filter and audit changes

Use search and date filters to locate specific events during incident investigation.

This ensures accountability across team members and provides clarity on who modified prices or settings.

Settings → Activity log with counters, filters and a list of changes
Filter by area, or by one staff member.

What you should see

You have a transparent record of all system and operational adjustments.

Good to know

  • Activity log entries are immutable and preserved permanently.
